Lauren is currently working as the female recovery mentor at NPFS while completing her CADC I-R certification. She has a Bachelor degree in Exercise Sport Science and Kinesiology and Associates of Applied Science/Public Health degree. She has worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse and a Certified Nursing Assistant, Certified Phlebotomy Tech., Personal Trainer and Yoga Instructor. What she has learned from all that experience is that she is passionate about working with people and helping them to live a happy and healthy life. Her personal experience with people struggling with addiction led her to pursue this role as a mentor.
She loves being outside and exploring new places. When she can, she takes her dogs with her to go “adventuring”. They’re her favorite things in the world. She tries her best to be positive everyday, especially when it’s hard!
