QMHP

Rachel is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) with a master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis from Purdue University. Originally from Southern California, she brings eight years of experience working in mental health and behavioral health settings, including treatment facilities, residential programs, and schools. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide range of needs, including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, autism, and other mental health challenges.
In her work with clients, Rachel emphasizes the importance of understanding each person’s individual experiences and meeting them where they are. She takes a client-centered, trauma-informed approach and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients strengthen coping skills, navigate emotions, and work toward their personal goals.
“I believe that everyone deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported in their mental health journey. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves, explore challenges without judgment, and build practical tools to improve their well-being. I recognize that everyone’s path is different and strive to provide care that reflects each individual’s needs, strengths, and experiences.”
Outside of work, Rachel enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and kayaking, and unwinding with a good movie. She also loves spending time with her husband and their dog.
