Annie Benson

QMHP

Annie started at New Priorities Family Services in January 2026. She earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Boise State University, where she is also currently completing her Master of Social Work degree. Annie has experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings, with a special interest in supporting children and families navigating anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and recovery.

Annie believes that every person deserves a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and understood. She values building genuine therapeutic relationships and works collaboratively with clients to identify their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful, lasting change. Her approach is person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed, incorporating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based interventions.

Outside of the office, Annie enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring Central Oregon, being outdoors, and finding opportunities to stay active and connected with her community.
